THOUGHTS AND RECIPE'S FROM MY MOTHER

3-27-2010
As I look through all the stuff I have I found this in a note book written by my mother. It would be nice if it were in her hand writing but not so.
She wrote about uncle Asa Baker born 21 Jan. 1901---Baptized 1 Feb. 1914--Endowed 18 July 1969.

1 Swallowing angry words is much easier than having to eat them.
2 Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't you are right.
3 Ride through life with an easy hand but a tight reign.
4 Going to heaven get your flight training here. These four are in mine and either Alberta or
Ruth"s and the last in my writing. Now for moms

Mom's
1 We should walk some each day if we have vericose veins. 2 When buying shoes go at the end of the day after you have been up all day. 3--It is always wise to buy the best shoes. 4--Be sure the clerk measures your feet as you stand. 5--Never buy shoes that do not feel completely comfortable.
That is her food for thought now for a recipe: If some words look wrong I'm put6ing it as I see it.
